Author of The Koruma Series
As author of The Koruma Series, she writes literary fantasy that celebrates imagination, friendship, courage and the enduring power of stories.
Inspired by the richness of African storytelling traditions and the landscapes, cultures and wisdom found across the continent, she creates fictional worlds where ordinary lives are touched by extraordinary mysteries. Her stories invite readers of every age to slow down, listen closely and notice the wonder hidden within everyday places.
The Koruma Series begins with The Whispering Baobab, the first of ten connected journeys through Koruma. Each book widens the world while exploring memory, identity, hope, resilience, community and the choices that shape who we become.
Beyond Koruma, she also writes contemporary fiction, political and legal fiction, technology thrillers and modern romance. Across every genre, she hopes every story leaves readers with something worth carrying long after the final page has been turned.
